Fuji Fuel vs Diamana S+ 62

I need some help comparing how shafts may perform in the nike covert 1.0 driver. I know I should get fit, but honestly I can't afford it, so I have to try to make an informed decision without breaking the bank. I currently have a diamana s+ 62 S in my covert, and I just do not like the shaft at all. I used a Speeder 652 S in my old nike sumo and loved that shaft. I'm sort of a Fuji fanboy, I've had very good results with fuji shafts. I am looking at either the Fuel 60 S or EXS 6.1 S. The thing I do not like about the diamana is that it seems boardy to me, I get no feedback and do not feel a kick through impact at all and seems to launch a bit lower than I prefer, but this could be that the covert head is just lower launching than my old driver. I can't read enough good things about the Fuel, and I'm leaning that way, but has anyone used both of these shafts???

Based in my experience, Diamana S+ Shaft is very smooth shaft. S+ is known for being smooth and has high torque. Its also a mid lanuch shaft. If you think S+ is boardy, I don't think Fuji Fuel is the answer. Fuji Fuel 60 is low/mid launch shaft with lower torque than S+ which means it may feel bit more boardy although I don't think either shaft is boardy. You may get a little more kick from Fuel at impact.

It you are looking for a shaft that launches higher than S+, you might want to look into higher launch shaft like GD Ad Di, Fuji Rombax X (not type x), UST Chrome and etc.

One more thing. If don't mind mid launch shaft and want a real nice kick I would suggest Rombax W series. They been out for a while and are currently discontinued but you can still find some new ones on eBay for less than $100. Theoreticly, shaft with softer tip end tend to have real nice kick but they tend to launch the ball high. On the other hand, shaft with stiff tip with soft but tend to feel bit smooth and it tends to launch the ball lower.
