Ping G2 v. Nike Ignite 460?

This is my first posting so I hope that it is a legitimate debate. I was wondering which club would be a better choice between these two clubs. I have hit the G2 and like it alot. I have yet to hit the Ignite but have been told that it is really long. Also, I play the R7 with a loft of 8.5 and in my opinion it is the longest driver I have hit. How do the other two compare to it. Thanks!

lol.. depending on the shaft each head will play differently..

 

I had a g2 with a pro launch.. wow.. 80% of the time right down the middle..

 

then i got on a launch monitor.. too much spin.. was losing 20 yds to spin.

 

got the ignite 460 and put in a diamana shaft.. when it goes staight it is 20 yds further but that is more due to the 1000 less rpms.. but i am having a harder time squareing the face.. ( longer heel to toe than g2) so i added some lead tape to the heel and it helped a bit.

champz is right the r7 is a low spin head and is less forgiving then both... my guess is the g2 will cost you some yardage.
