Fastest greens in Gulf Shores, AL?

So I've played all the courses down here, but can't remember who has the best greens. Any you guys played recently that could provide input/advice?

Kiva Dunes and Rock Creek have some very nice greens.

I vote Kiva Dunes.

I Played Craft Farms, Peninsula and Kiva about a month ago and Kiva was the fastest by far. One thing to remember at Kiva is the practice putting green is next to the blue tees ... the green next to the driving range is the chipping/bunker green.

I will be traveling to Gulf Shores next summer for a family vacation and for everything I've read it seems like Kiva Dunes is the place to go.

Kiva greens are good but have a few bad spots right now. Course is in great shape otherwise.

I should be playing Kiva Dunes the first week of October. I fully expect it to be the nicest course I have played. Any tips?

My wife's family has a house in Orange Beach, so we go as often as we can, and I've played a lot of golf down there.

The answer to your question depends on how broadly you define the "Orange Beach area," but if you're willing to go to Mobile, then both of the RTJ Trail sites over there are absolutely tremendous. If those are included in the discussion, then they absolutely have the quickest greens around. Not even close.

Kiva Dunes is very nice. It's not gonna change your life, and the last time I played it was very crowded. But it's still a tremendous course. I'd play either of the RTJ courses before Kiva, given the opportunity.

For whatever reason, Peninsula seems to fly under the radar, but it's every bit as nice as Kiva. And the last couple of times I've been, it wasn't crowded at all.

Craft Farms is more than fine. I've enjoyed it every time I've played there. But it wouldn't be my first choice, if I had my run of the neighborhood.
