Tour Issue R15

I would just like to know what the tell-tail signs are that an r15 head is tour issue. I know in previous years there have been paint breaks/ txxxx serial numbers/ dots and hot melt slots that give it away but this years version doesn't seem to have any of them. I currently have an r15 head given to me by someone who works on tour but i thought it would've have been rude to ask him whether it was tour issued of not!If anyone has any information that would be helpful as i am very intrigued. Thanks!!

It doesn't seem to have any signs of being CT tested (dot on face at CoG or + on hosel if passed), so I would lean towards not. Unless it just hadn't made it that far yet. Most of the tour issue heads are lighter, so if you can weigh it next to a retail one that might tell you something.

I have two heads from the tour department and neither have the CT testing markings. I know they're legit, though, so I just assume they didn't get far enough along in the process. Also, the adapter on your shaft is the one used on tour. These can easily be purchased elsewhere, but if your source is good, I'd say it all adds up and club is likely legit.

The adapter is right, but need the centerpunch CT test mark (not dot) on face for it to have gone through the process otherwise just a head that was eventually headed to the tour van. The rarity is a black 430 (have only seen one from the asian tour)..

I have a black 430 tournissue R15, but it was done by continental golf.
