I eat more than salads. It just is an easy way to get tons of food yet not as much calories.

Do not listen to Tex. He stands an abnormally long way away from the ball and excessively reaches out to hit it. He also plays a longer driver than the majority of golfers to attain this stance / swing. He is awesome and has found something that works for him. He is also a better driver of the ball than I am. Yet, I still would not recommend his technique, stance, driver length, or swing to anyone even though he is a better driver than me.

My golf playing is far from strategically sound, Sully. My strategy is currently surpassed in craptasticness only by my putting at the moment. Driver on 10 at Hobbits is one of many stupid things I do regularly. It's working for me though, so I'm gonna keep letting it ride.

I think it's a huge advantage to be able to hit the driver on 10. I think I started 3/3 fairways hit and have since gone 0/5, with 2 retees. Pretty awful. It sets up great for my fade, so it's basically a litmus test on my confidence level in my driving.

 

Like the challenge of the hole. Many ways to play it, which is great.
