INTRODUCTION:
Pictured below is a special edition GripMaster Barramundi Suede Stitchback putter grip.
These pictures were taken after playing it for about 10 full rounds of golf. For those of you wondering "What the heck is a Barramundi?", the Barramundi is a species of fish that is found around Northern & Eastern Australia.

SPECS:
The grip weighed in at around 58g. before install on a digital scale. It is a light grey in color with black logo's and black stitchback.

FEEL:
The grip has a soft sueded feel to it. The "scales" are very soft with no hard or sharp edge feel to them at all. Because of the scales, it does have a textured feel to it versus the ultra smooth feel of a regular stitchback grip, but I found this to be a welcome change and it was not distracting at all.

DURABILITY:
My only mistake here was not taking a "before" picture prior to playing it. If I had you would be able to see that the scales did not wear at all. If anything, right out of the box they were a slight bit tighter to the grip and not flayed out as much as my pictures show but it was a negligible difference. Initially I was concerned that after playing 7-10 round of golf (or maybe even less) that there would be some issues with the scales rubbing off, splitting off, or falling off especially where finger pressure,etc was from my hand. As you hopefully can see, and as I will personally state, this has not been an issue at all. The exoticness of this grip does not lend itself to frailty I'm happy to report.

SUMMARY:
This grip is unique, obviously exotic, and a real conversation piece around the course. It's look will definitely draw attention, so be prepared to tell the "GripMaster Story" more than once. I can't count the number of times I heard "What the hell is that on your putter?" I would then tell the story and every time the response was "Sweet!", "Awesome", or "I want one!!". Even though it is an exotic, it performs and feels fantastic which is what we all have come to expect from the great company that is GripMaster. I give it a standing ovation, 5 stars out of 5. This stuff is supposed to be very long wearing stuff. I think it's great how GripMaster is continuing to innovate.

Let me just say that I love Gripmaster grips. They are simply the best. I will never have another grip other than a leather gripmaster on my putter ever again. The feel and feedback are simply amazing.
