Ball markers. What do you use?

a friend of mine uses something that could be used as a saucer... so I went to the five and dime and picked one up for the next time we played... he got a laugh out of it.

I use the Red chip. It's easy to see on the green. Before this, I was using the button on my glove.

in a casual round - a tee, unless i'm in someones line...always have a few coins or else the magnetic "coin" from the divot repair tool.
Have abunch of the ones the USGA use to send out for US Opens

I use a Two Pence coin I brought back from a Europe trip the fiancé and I made a couple years ago.

Not sure if it's one from my day trip to St Andrews or not.. But still. Brings back solid memories and makes me think happy thoughts on the green.

I use this poker chip sized marker from Matrix. The middle marker slides out for use closer to the hole. It is heavy and stays in my pocket pretty well when riding in a cart.

I bought a really nice divot repair tool with a magnetic ball marker. I promply left it on a green someplace. I get home and im in the garage and on my work bench I see a whole bag of washers. Guess what I use now. I have an endless supply of ball markers.

I use a few different things. One is a $1 poker chip from the Paris casino that was the last chip I had after a fun three week bender in Vegas. I spent the entire time on the casino's money. The second is an old King George pound silver coin that I found in a drawer. It is large and easy to see from a long way away. I use a dime around the hole.

I have 3 things that I use.

Main one is a TPC Potomac ball marker, that's my hometown, although I've never played there.
I have a 1992 Half Dollar, year I was born.
A red dipped quarter that I found in a pack of quarters from the bank, just thought it was cool and it stands out on the green.

I rotate between ball markers from my favorite courses: Sandpiper, Pelican Hill, Pasatiempo.

Side note: I also don't get the poker chip thing.

The metal poker chip with the smaller ball mark in the center has a little merit. Keeps you from having to fish around in your pocket for a small coin and can just use the whole thing when not close to the hole or in anyone's line. I have a hat clip I like with a divot tool and ball marker but it leaves rust spots on my hats in the hot, humid south.

i bought a used bag at play it again sports and found a callaway divot repair tool with a magnetic ball mark and have used that for the last few years

Had them at local golf shop for 12.95. When I played yesterday they had them for 9.95 in the pro shop so I got one

Agree on the poker chip bring distracting but to ask or tell you to not use a quarter which is widely accepted method include the tours is down right dumb I would have some choice comments back to him. Good on your for not but man that would irk me
