I will keep this brief, played there on Saturday and the course was in GREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT shape! They are prepping for the Mass PubLinx, the greens were smoooooooooooth and faaaaaast!!

Good to hear. Most of the courses I've played this summer have been in pretty good shape. Played Campbell's Scottish Highlands Saturday and their greens are back, they were just awful last year.

Very good to hear. Fun layout but the last time I played (2 years ago) it was in shambles.

I agree. Way overrated and over priced. I won't be going back anytime soon.

I played it a couple weeks ago and it was in great shape as well.... Much better than the last few years!

I agree that $99.00 is STEEP for any golf course in our area but the layout/topography changes are fantastic. There aren't too many courses like it around. I think what sours so many people is paying that price and getting a $55.00 course on the condition scale.

The only reason I paid it was I was in an outing thru a different forum. Normally I would play there week day with the twilight rate. Paying $55-60 is ok in my books for there.

Sean - hope your summer is going well!

I've only played it twice, and both times it was in very good shape. But I've heard enough comments that I'm always wary of playing it...including one time earlier this season when a co-worker played it and had a "meh" reaction to the conditioning.

It's a shame, because it's an outstanding layout. And for what they charge, it's a bit of highway robbery that they can't keep the place in good condition.

Since you have seen me at my worst, you are on the short list who can bust my balls and I don't get bothered! LOL It was a night/day rd from when we last played. I was back to playing bogey golf with 2 triples which is just my life lately. I played in an outing with guys I met on Thehackersparadise.com forum, I gotta say I met 15 GREAT guys!!! They are VERY loyal to that site and about traveling around to play in various outings. Guys were flying to Ohio, CA just to play golf with new guys I was shocked!

Night and day conditions from around the time of the MA Publinks and when I played the front nine last Friday night.
Conditions were not good IMHO.
Greens were beat up pretty bad - (a ton of ball marks ) and fringe/fairways were spotty. Many divots in the fairways as well (more than any course I have played this year)

Played here for the first time 2 week ago and I was blown away. The course was in great shape and the elevation changes make for some truly breathtaking holes (hole 11 - WOW!!) Other than the leaves in fairways/bunkers, which the grounds crew were attending too, I thought the course was in remarkable shape for November. Discounted Fall rates were $55. I will definitely try and get out on this course again next season. Might even try again this Fall, weather permitting.

There are very few courses in N.E. that have the topography changes of that course. It's one of my favorites for sure!
