Golf shoes for an odd shaped foot

I'm having trouble finding golf shoes that fit. This is to be expected as I have an odd foot. I measure almost exactly 11.5 on a branncock device. One foot is just a hair under, and one is just a hair over. Usually and 11.5 fits fine in the length. My foot width is pretty normal from the ball of my foot to the start of my heel. However, my heel is on the narrow side. To make matters worse, I have a high instep which can cause the shoe to have to stretch and be tight on the sides of my foot. And if that wasn't enough, my slightly longer foot is actually slightly narrower.

 

When shopping for sneakers, I can usually get away with an 11.5. They're usually made of a flexible enough fabric and have an open enough lacing system that they'll eventually conform. With dress shoes (Allen Edmonds, Alden, etc), I usually have to go up or down a size and then up or down a width depending on the actual last the shoe is made on.

 

My problem is that golf shoes (especially the more waterproof ones) seem to be constructed more like dress shoes than sneakers. I'm currently wearing a Puma PG Clyde in and 11.5. It mostly fits ok, but is a little tight in the toe area. I'd also like something that's a little bit better as we approach the rainy season in Seattle. I tried a FJ Hydrolite in a 11.5 (two tight around the toes and instep), 11.5W (great everywhere but quite a bit of heel slip), 12 (a little long, and still heel sleep). I tired a True Linkswear Game Changer Pro in a size 12 (too long and heel slip) and an 11.5 (too tight around the toes).

 

I was hoping someone has faced a similar situation and has some ideas. At this point I'm considering trying something like the FJ Superlite or Hyperflex in an 11.5W and adding some sort of heel insert to control the slip. The other option is just breaking down and buying some Allen Edmonds (not my favorite idea). The biggest problem I have is that the nearest golf stores to me don't have a ton of stock in different sizes.

 

If anyone has any suggestions on a shoe or an insert, please let me know.
