Just ordered the Lunar Fires in Black/Grey/Red from Golfsmith. Should I have used ebates with Golfsmith? How the f*** does ebates work? I just ordered them directly through Golfsmith.

 

Did you use the "june99" code to get down to $106? Add the ebates 15%, get em down around $90....

If you did not use the code or ebates, yep, just losing money, like $35.

I used the code. But not ebates (I wasnt logged into ebates). Ebates is only 15% cash back. But how do I apply that to the order? Pardon my ignorance. Haha

You don't really apply it to the order, either click the pop up banner in the upper right when you visit GS, or go to ebates, and click the link to the GS store. It will not reduce the price of the order, but you get an enmail from ebates the same day with the cash back for that transaction.

 

I don't think you can apply to orders placed, so may have to re-do. Check your ebates account, may have just happened....

I'm not sure what's up with the fruity pebbles on NDC. I've checked and they've had like 2 sizes left and other times I check and they've got every size stocked. I keep waffling on whether or not to buy them. I don't NEED them...but I WANT them haha.

 

Yeah it was really odd. When I placed my order, every size was in stock. Then when order #1 got cancelled all they had was 7, 7.5, and 13. Later the next day, they had a handful of sizes in stock again, and 9.5 was available so I bought them again. Cancellation email #2 was the WTF moment.

 

Thankfully, an awesome Nike store employee went above and beyond and found my pair on the backroom pallet ready to be shipped out, probably for the outlets or some such. I'll make sure I stunt one time in his honor.

 

I never NEED a new pair of golf shoes. It just happens. :)

So I have to cancel my first order which is already on the truck to be shipped. I reordered through the link on ebates and still don't see my cash back balance. Does it take a while? Does the order have to ship first (because Golfsmith charges the card when your order actually ships)?

So was taking to our Nike rep today and he comes up trumps for me get both the red and blue chukkas for me. He knows how much I love my shoes and ordered them before I had even asked :)

So, I call in and let GS know about the reduction the FI Premiere's since my 3rd pair had not shipped, so the guy matched it , brought it to $150. I got to thinking this morning, and realized I had a 15% coupon, and they are also running one know. I went to the site, and noticed they now have them marked down to $149.99, added to cart, added code, now they are $127.49 +15% Ebates.

 

The dude hooked me up with another match, as mine have still not shipped, so now $127.49, and $19, or $25 back from ebates. I am not sure if there late price adjustment will change my ebates cash back.

 

Anyway, with the current price, code, and ebates, down to around $108.

Man I went to the Nike Store in Dallas.... Tried on the Elites and WOW they fit amazing. Definetly going to get the grey pair in the high tops when I free up enough funds after vacation.

I did on one new Nike release this season, and it was your favorite Mula, that Hazard dot crew.

 

I feel better now though, cause they raised the retail price from $65 to $95, it was only a couple dollars cheaper during the recent sale.

 

All other new release stuff was found at discount. I offered $55 the other day on ebay for a new Photo Blue flexknit half zip, got accepted, with free shipping.

Scheduled to ship on 7/8. It worked out fine for me, ended up saving the $50 since Nike marked them down, still got my ebates cash back, and I already have 2 pairs, so no big hurry, especially with the arrival of the LF1's today.
