Pretty solid day 2 for me. Sitting at 277points and 6/6 all inside top 22. I'll say it again though a lot of golf left! I noticed Peter Jennings has 3 lineups inside the top 10 ........go figure

Nice! 6/6 for me as well with 240.5 pts. My best player is Stenson, next best being Sergio. McDowell just sneaked in for me. I was freaking out when he was T100+ earlier this morning, but I only selected Friday AM players for this particular lineup. Glad to see it has paid off.

Similar strategy for me as well but wish I would of picked the earliest tee times Friday morning since most of those guys played well on Thurs too.......like Timau, Soren, Mol and NA. But hey not gonna complain yet lol

Lots of 6/6s this week. I think it was 35% or more in the milly. I went 5/6 in my cash games and didnt even smell the money.

I've never had a 6/6 lineup not get a payout until this week, where I had three 6/6 not get a payout.

 

So it was said above that 35% of lineups were 6/6 in the contest... I don't know if it is normally that high. If not, that explains why a bunch didn't get a payout.

 

But a general observation, when you have TWO "big players" like Stenson and Mickelson going disproportionately lower than the rest of the field, then lineups with either of them, and especially both, have a HUGE (and disproportionate) advantage.

 

There's no predicting that kind of thing in advance (as if anybody can predict the future), but when it does happen like it did this week, it really screws lineups without those two players.

 

I don't care to take the time to fish though the results to find out, but a 3-4-5-6-7 type of lineup this week I believe would be way way low in the standings (when theoretically that could win another week).

 

 

I had Stenson in one lineup, but Phil in none. Looking back, if I had done better homework, I could have put Stenson in more. But even if I had the cash to enter 150 lineups, I'm not sure Phil would be in any.

I'm gonna try what you did next time: base the lineups on weather tee times for the PGA Championship next week. Because that would have worked out well if wasn't for Phil and Stenson and the fact that most of the open made the cut for the Open championship.

NA killed me on the back 9 Sunday with 3 bogeys in a row to start. The real story I feel was that JB played great given his price because his play the week before. Which also scraped people away too.

no early interest this week? I took List on 3 of 4 lineups, so at least I have something to root for at this very early stage of things...been watching shotlink and it is staggering how far some of these guys hit driver...they make 450+ par 4s drive and pitch holes
