not sure how, but I cashed with a lineup that only had 5 guys for the weekend...it's good to finally cash something again on golf!

 

 

 

I managed to get my money back on one lineup with only 4 making the cut.

 

And got back $8 on another with 5 making it.

I cashed in 1 of 5 lineups. 5 guys made the cut in that one. Overall a losing weekend.

Losing weekend for me too.

 

Ricky Fowler, the defending champion, who was in 33/100 lineups.

Rafa Bello whose last 3 finishes were 3, 4, & T17 and was in 38/100 lineups.

Kevin Na, who has always played very well at TPC, and was in 24/100 lineups.

Jordan Spieth who has 5 top 10's and has not finished outside of 20th this year, and was in 22/100 lineups

Patrick Reed, who has 3 top 10 finishes in his last 5 tournaments, and was in 12/100 lineups

Henrik Stenson who has won at TPC recently, and had 2 top 3 finishes in his last 5 starts, and was in 12/100 lineups

Luke Donald who has played really well recently, and always played well at TPC, who was in 12/100 lineups

Chris Kirk who has had 2 top 5's in his last 5 starts, who WD'ed and was in 12/100 lineups

 

 

In the past I have been hurt by no-name/low-end players not making the cut, that were in many lineups. As you can see from those name.... we are not talking low-end/no-name players. We are talking GOOD players, that SHOULD have made the cut, that DID NOT. Did not stand a chance. It was not a fault in the logic in my system, but rather players that for some reason had an off week.... and A LOT of them having an off week.

Thoughts on this week? Doesn't seem that it's a bombers track and leans more towards scrambling and SG T2G.

Kuchar seems like a good pick, and I would probably look at Knost and Cejka if the prices are low enough.

agree on Kuch...for some reason, I keep coming back to Koepka and Woodland...I look at the list of recent winners and top 10s here since they redid the greens and there are a TON of marginal putters who jumped up on this track

Lucas Glover keeping popping up for me and Woodland is hard to pass given course history and form. But course history killed me last week

Me too. Actually, my best week since the PGA last year. CH3 and Knost really paid off for me. Would have been even better had Palmer and GDL not imploded on 18 and 17 on Friday.

this will be a much easier week for players to make the cut, and the top end salaries are doable, so stars and scrubs lineups will be easy to plot...which makes me think balanced is the way to go for tourneys (I could see arguments for both S&S/balanced for cash games)

price wise on DK, its very easy to build lineups this week, and with the easy cut line (70/120 vs 70/144), I think people will need 6 guys, the winner AND they'll need most of the top finishers to get any decent cash back...that said, here is my fav lineup so far...

Ended up using fantasy labs lineup generator for some lineups and came out ahead. I didn't make any big money but didn't lose any.

 

Some good value this week and big names, should be a good tourney. Much at will be the highest owned I believe.
