ouch! with the weather delays, the scoring seems so disjointed this week; I have a strong lineup right now that has DJ and Sergio, but if the bit players MC after the early rounds today, the lineup will wither regardless of DJ and Sergio

DJ is the only bright spot in my lineup unfortunately. I also have sneds and Matsuyama who have zero chance of making the cut.

 

My only really solid line-up that still has potential (entered in the PGA $500k birdie)

I had 1 Milli maker lineup and won $35. Again looking back at it I think I overanalyzed things and changed my lineup too much.

This week I bet finau and Lovemark and put them in my line up

Crazy part is that I pick piercy, DJ, Lowry, ZJ, Grace, Summerhays, Dufner in many of my line ups even outside of this event but some how I did not have a line up with any mix of 6...

any thoughts on strategy this week? with an invitational, it's going to be much easier to make the cut (70 and ties of 120), so i'm thinking birdie/eagle guys should be favored, which is much different than last week's US Open, where we had to get the placement points and birdie bonus points were more difficult to get; also, this course seems to be a GIR/modest putter place (2014 finishers were Rose, Stefani, Hoffman, Martin, Romero, Steele, Todd, deJonge, Hurley, Leishman, Garrigus, Billy Ho -- most of whom fit that mold)

you know it's a different kind of week when 3 of your 6 players on your favorite lineup don't even have a face on your DK card...I ended up heavy on Rahm, An, Leishman, Swafford & Steele in various lineups

Grabbing Fowler in the $3 contest might be a good thing at 18% owned if he can figure it out and make the weekend. Several other lower quality golfers with higher ownership.

Had zeroed in on Charl as a mid-tier core DFS play, but I am seeing in the last 24 hours that he is switching to PXG this week. Going back to the drawing board, but targeting more balanced lineups that avoid the top 5 for cash.

it is easy to create lineups again for this event, you can go balanced or even grab 3 of the top guys for S&S fairly easy because some of the very low-priced guys are easy to use...so far, here are my favs...

for a very cheap longshot, I like Summerhays; other longshots I like are Steele, Sterne and maybe even Monty

 

I also had the elephant killer on my lineups until I saw the equipment change; I might leave him on one lineup, but i'm not gonna trust an equipment change in front of a major

Anyone like Garcia and Scott as a duo for Stars and Scrubs lineups this week? They both have good records in this major. I've never done stars and scrubs lineups, but thought if I am going to try it, thought that duo might work.

I have lineups with both Sergio and Scott in them, and i'm not sure i'd even call them S&S lineups because the pricing is very reasonable on some logical picks

Agreed. There is some good value between $7-8k that allows for a couple picks at the top.
