I agree. I only saw 30 minutes of the tourney today, but within 2 minutes of turning it on... I got to hear the starter announce Jimmy Walker as "Jimmy Fowler".

I completely bombed in DK this past week, but was saved by my Horschel to make top 10 bet.

 

Who do you guys like this week? It looks like the bombers fare pretty well here based on previous results.

Me too. However after having my gf's lineups beat mine for 3 straight weeks I am questioning the irrational volatility.

My wife's lineup last week was a bust too so no biggie for me lol. This week is a no cut plus a lot of big names and the long ball big guys usually do well.

I limit my entries in the no cut tournaments. It's a complete crapshoot and I will take the 2-day cut any day when it comes to DFS.

the no-cut is not an issue to me, had one of my better weeks at the Hero, which was a very short field no cut event...

any thoughts on players/strategy this week? i'm thinking stars/scrubs for cash games and balanced for tourneys on DK; players I like are Willett and JT; looking for a bounce from pretty boy and bubba, neither of whom tend to go back-to-back Ws...

I have no clue for this week. My only thought is that the winner will be a first time winner @ Doral because I don't think there has been multiple time winners. But hey that's just my idea lol

I'm liking JRose this week at 25-1, don't mind Kis at 60 and berger at 140. (I feel like I may go to the well on Berger and Kis too often but I think their talent is undervalued by the books cause they are lesser names.)

I think Koepka's game sets up well for this course. I'm not sure how sharp he currently is due to switching to Nike equipment though.

 

Oosty seems to be flying under the radar this week.

my concern on oosty is that he is coming off a win flying all the way back from western Australia, which is seriously rugged travel no matter how nice the accommodations; I give Billy Ho some shot this week after playing well on a course he usually hates last week...

I went somewhat chalky with stars and scrubs, leading out with DJ and Holmes in my cash games. I usually play much more balanced for cash, but without the cut, I'm thinking that its more important to have potential winners.

It's crazy that Rory and Day are so low owned. They seem like they would have as good of a chance as anyone.

Broke even this week.

 

For the Valspar, and the rest of the FL/TX swing, keep in mind the wind can affect players who tee off late. If they get scorched early they may be nuked mentally which is a tough spot to recover from.
