Companies that refinish Putters

So recently I sent a Newport 2 pro platinum to the SC custom shop and it was done flawlessly as usual but it took them 4 1/2 months to do. There excuse was that they could not get the black finish on there correctly. So this time I'm looking to send the Tei3 Newport I just acquired to get refinished else where possibly.

Please let me know where you guys have had good experiences! Thank you

I second Continental Golf, I just dropped a putter off there today. They do some amazing work.

I've never used them but heard great things from friends that have used the following: The Putter Lounge, BosGolf, and Continental Golf. The only issue sending a Scotty to anyone other than Titleist custom shop it ruins the value. But if you don't plan on selling it, any one of them will do fantastic work.

I got my Newport 2 Tei3 done at BOS and it was great. I heard somewhere that apparently they're the company who used to put that finish on those putter originally.

Yes BOS was the original vendor who did the black and oil can finishes for Scotty cameron. Also notable is that bettinardi did a lot of the original milling ..,so the only correct restoration would be a re mill at bob bettinardis shop ( not gonna happen ) and a refinish at BOS. Which is easy to have done. Sending it to the custom shop is a non original re-do no matter what they do to it. All they did to start with was glue the heads on. I say this owning , loving and using a early 350g oil an Newport.
