Finally after a long winter some nice weather is peeking through in the PNW. But with that there’s a lot of equipment out there that I have my eye on. Looking to move these to make room for others.

 

Always interested to hear out trades but really limited to what I’m actually interested in.

 

 

1. Vega VM 01 Blade 4-pw/ Ctaper 120 Stiff

Actually made in JAPAN. Kyeoi Forged. Infamously soft. These have the thinnest top lines that I have ever set next to a ball. Beautiful design and craftsmanship that no American manufacturer can match. The sharp heel of the sole seems to be mark of Japanese clubes. I have to say that I never thought irons could be softer than Endo forged clubs but I have become a believer. Every shot feels pure. As far as I can tell these are the same clubs as the Chakara MB 1 (with exception of the toe and heel relief). The grooves are tight and deep. Definitely a refreshing change to all the US designed clubs year after year.

Condition: 9/10. Bag chatter as usual with forged clubs. Minimal face wear.

Shafts: KBS Ctaper 120g stiff with Custom Carbon Ferrules installed.

2. Mizuno Mp 4 4- PW/ Fujikura Mizuno Orochi Tour Spec 90g Stiff

Thinner profile than any of the previous Mizuno blade models. Diamond muscle back design concentrated the muscle right behind the sweet spot. These are incredibly buttery and with the right tempo the graphite shaft makes these feel even more smooth. Mizuno has really perfected the flow of their blade line. Between Mp 69 and Mp 4 then only difference is the camber in the trailing edge, shape of the muscle and top line. The blade length, size and shape is the same.

 

I’ve included pictures of the mp 69 next to the mp 4. Both 6 irons.

3. Taylormade 2014 TP MB 4-pw/ KBS Ctaper 120g Stiff

The clubs played by Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose, Nick Taylor and James Hanh among many other TM sponsored pros. Classic blade design with a nice compact head. Might be a stretch but I would call these a poor man’s Miura 1957 baby blade (in terms of compactness). Very soft feel all over the face. Very forgiving “feel” while still giving you feedback of where you hit it on the face.

 

Shafts: KBS Ctaper 120g Stiff

Set: 4-pw (7 clubs)

Spec: Standard

Grips: Taylormade (RSi) ribbed. Built up 2 wraps.

Condition: 8/10. Faces have no browning. NO major damage. Just bag chatter.

Every iron has serial number.

4. Nike Vapor Pro Combo 4-AW/ DG Pro S300 Stiff

Stunning looks. Edgy design that has function. Leave it to Nike to design irons the best looking irons on the market. I got many complements while having these in the bag. Great feel and performance. The set progresses very well from the short irons to long irons. The pocket cavity starts at 7i and it is VERY HOT. The long irons are hot off the face and easy to hit. Short irons feel solid and provide amazing control. All irons are soft forged. Sole has some leading edge relief.

 

Shafts: Dynamic Gold Pro S300 Stiff

Set: 4-AW

Grips: Nike Golf Pride Tour velvet Volt swoosh logo

Spec: Standard LLL

Condition: 8/10. Faces are in great shape. Minimal wear. Little bit of bag chatter.

5. Mizuno Mp 69 5-pw/ DG S300 + Mp 68 3i PX 6.0

Infamous mizuno blades. I’ve owned the Mp 68, 69 and 4. The head size, blade length, sole width, top lines and set flow are all the same. It is only design of the muscle that changes. These have incredible soft feel. Tons of workablility.

 

Blue paint fill is the signature mizuno logo color. Also matches the JPX 850 driver.

 

Shafts: True temper DG S300. 3 iron has a PX 6.0. All you need to complete the set is a 4i of the mp 69 or mp 68. The 69 & 68 flow perfectly. Practically interchangeable.

Condition: 9/10. Only slight face wear on some clubs.

6. Generic irons. Flintstone 3-SW.

solid set. Everything is brand new never hit only slight cosmetic wear from storage. Even though these have a brand they are just generic. For a generic casted iron, they feel just as good as a top quality name brand set.

 

Shafts: True temper.

Grips: Grip one

Spec: Lofts are classic lofts. PW is 52* and flows right into the SW.

Very performance oriented polo shirt. Made of fully dri fit fabric. Side panels and back stripe is made of mesh for ventilation. Very stretchy and comfortable. All materials are laser cut and some of the seems are bonded to prevent chaffing. Buttons have a nice TW logo detail. Collar is self folding for a great look.
