Just started getting JDM stuff, driver suggestions?

Hey guys, I ve always been intrigued by JDM equipment and finally have started bagging some of it. Recently picked up a 52,56,60 set of Cleveland CG17 forged wedges, and Srixon Pro100 japan spec. I know these arent very very JDM but was wondering what drivers you guys play and from what brands, shaft choices? I play a cleveland classic at 9.5 degrees with a Miyazaki Kusala 72 in it for reference

Tourstage 705 or 707 available from this eBay seller, ushop_ec. I have the 705 on the way. Most of them have Graphite Design Tour AD shafts, are less than $200 U.S. and in fine condition.

Tourstage 909 w/ AD GT7 shaft from eBay. Beautifully made.With a smaller head at 420cc, D3 SW it is a real solid feeling club, not the most forgiving but real long.

I bought many JDM drivers. As they are usually very light, I hotmelt them to around 205 grams and use heavy shafts (Blueboard 83 and Accra S2-75 still some of my favorites). I play them short in the end at 44". I really love the 2012 Yamahas V202, D202 and even Z202. Great heads!

Yes it is. The shafts are the real deal and heads are made by Endo.

I didn't like the fourteen......

 

I currently have a Ryoma Maxima D1 with Fire express shaft (this is like my favorite driver in YEARS) and a Crazy/Jbeam 435 with a tour AD GT shaft. I am hanging on to the Crazy just because I guess, but if you get it shafted right, the Maxima lives up to the hype for me. I am NOT long by wrx standards, maybe 260-280 avg. I played wed in alot of wind and with the wind I had 2 over 300 and into it i was not getting destroyed. My partners were younger and played 80s golf and I was 20 yards by them all day under the changing conditions. To me, this is my end game driver. Oh yeah, I am also striaghter with it than my last 5 drivers, that is really why it is in the bag. It is expensive, but if you think you can quell your desire to ho, it may be cheaper than switching if you like it alot.

 

Also, welcome to JDM, there is no going back......seriously hahaha.

after playing my wedges and irons for about 2 weeks I'm seriously just gunna be a jdm guy!! They feel heavier and more pure , been having a good practice with what I have so far , gunna game it tomorrow !
