need a shaft for my tour Adams 4060!!!!!
like the title says, i'm wanting everyones opinion on the lowest launching shaft they have ever hit. I'm looking to put it in a tour issue Adams 4060 at 14.5*. I love the head but every shaft i've hit in it hits the ball to the moon. I'm considering a fujikura vista tour 70s because I've had success with that being very low launch and low spin, or maybe just getting a V285 or 95, dont 'know yet. I'm definately wanting something heavy and under $100 if at all possible.

shafts I've considered
V2 85 or 95
grafalloy red
penley ETA tour
fujikura vista tour 70
graman u780

all these are around or under my $100 mark and are relatively heavy with low tourque (love the boardy feel of the v2's but the 75 hits it too high). so lets hear some thoughts and opinions
TBD - G430 Max 15* - 818 H2 19*- Sub 70 Pro 23* - i525 6-U - SM9 54* / 58* / 62*  - F22

The lowest launching shaft will simply be the stiffest shaft.

A shaft contributes to launch angle by allowing the clubhead to kick forward at impact - adding effective loft to the club.

If you are playing a shaft that is well matched to your swing, this occurs consistently and does not require you to swing "out of your socks" to get the shaft to perform for you.

If you want a lower launching shaft, simply go to a stiffer shaft and it will not kick forward as far at impact, resulting in less effective loft.

Generally speaking, the stiffer the tip section, the lower the launch. However, if the overall flex profile gets too stiff, you may have problems loading the shaft. which can cause the ball to fall out of the sky due to a lack of spin or never even get above head height in the first place!

Without seeing your swing, it is difficult to say, but of the shafts you name, I would go with the VT70. It has that smooth Fuji feel but keeps ball flight lower due to the extremely stiff tip.
