Masters 4K TV App

I have a Galaxy S8 and downloaded the Masters app from the play store. I can then select "cast" and send the stream to my Sony TV.

 

I can do the same. Great stream, no buffering whatsoever.

Such a bummer they didn't do a 4k app on smart tvs/roku/chromecast/apple tv this year. I had the amen corner 4k app on my 4k tv last year and it was so sweet. Guess directv must have paid more to exclusively do it this year, shame they aren't doing it on their directv now streaming service, I might have tried it out to see that.

 

Guess 1080p will have to suffice!

Where are you seeing the casting button?

 

I'm only seeing the share button in the upper right of the Masters full screen video.

There should be a "cast" icon in the upper right corner of your screen on the Galaxy S8. It looks like this;

For some reason I could stream the Masters App via VPN to my iPad, but not to my TV via the Apple TV.

 

I can also stream the Sky coverage, but it's barely 1/2 k on my dodgy box

Living in KSA...... I couldn't get the skysports coverage even using a VPN with London location..... bastards.....

 

then went to various other backup plans... couldn't stream the masters coverage on my desktop via masters.com which sucked.......

 

Then got my VPN in the USA going and did a 1 week trial Directvnow which has ESPN and BINGO!!!!!!! Perfect streaming for first 2 days.

My next focus is on getting CBS which is local programming. Apparently your billing address of the CC on file has to be the same place as where the IP address is located...... Thus I can't get my VPN location to the same city so I'm screwed I think.

 

How can international guys get the masters.com stream??????? Only on mobile devices?

I used VPN360 and connected to the US server, and watched on the Masters app on my Ipad. I could not get the feed to work on my apple TV for some reason - I can stream UK programmes in the same manner with no issue.

If you have a Samsung phone and Samsung TV you can use the Samsung Smartview app to stream your phone to the TV, if you have them both connected to a wireless router. Search youtube for a video on this.
