Best fairway wood ever

Yes, I assume there is no "one" fairway wood, but whats the fun in taking all the posts out and just saying "find the one you like the most". Bleh. I assume it's more focused at a "hey what fairway woods are you guys knocking around and/or wish you still had".

Taking that approach, I'm a big fan of the Ping i25 fairways. If you can get past the racing stripes (which I personally really like in a FW and hate in the driver) they are awesome sticks. Very clacky sound, which I prefer over the "tink" sound of the more modern fairways. Hit them long and straight and have already hit some amazing shots with the 5w (first 5w I've ever played). Very good sticks and cheap. I think I have less then $150 a stick in my 3/5 with Rogue shafts.

I have had a TiSi-Tec 3 wood since they came out.. got mine straight from PingWRX... found a matching 5wood last year on the bay... both were with original shafts (so you know they had seem some time....

within two weeks, both of the hosels gave up the ghost.... Ping fixed them for me, but I decided that it was time....

I bought an i25 and it came with a Rogue Silver , off of the bay..... for 99 dollars. this was a terrible thing.

I now have a Rogue Silver in my Driver.....

bought an i25 3 wood off the bay for 115... came with a Fujikura speeder II... pulled it and bought a Rogue Silver for it.

bought an i25 19 degree hybrid off the bay FOR $45!!!! and then put an aldila blue hybrid shaft in it.

But I love them things... the racing stripes, i could do without them... but i don't mind

Yep, I bought the 5 wood last year and played it with a NV and liked it but wasn't just crazy about it. Saw some Rogue's for $89 on eBay and figured I liked the 3/5 wood enough to play them all year so I'd upgrade the shafts. Got those hit them and just loved everything about them, so then I said "wonder if they have any of the 60s left for $89 to put in my driver". They did, and now I've got the Rogues in all my woods. Just fantastic combinations. Same launch and bit lower spin than the NV, I have 0 issues hitting them from about anywhere and can control them off the tee with ease.

Nike VR Pro Limited - just enough of an open face to get rid of most hooks, versatile off of the tee and fairway, decent enough stock shaft, still gets out there with other clubs. I've debated going M2 after a demo day, but don't know if I could get it to hold greens when I want to as well. The regular VR Pro was solid too, but launched a bit too high for my liking.

Another vote for Vr Ltd.

I still have mine sitting around, been playing an M2 just because it is new and shiny. Great sound and trajectory with the Vr always. Just a solid club.
