Golf buddies in Murfreesboro/Nashville area

Looking to see if anyone around ever has a need for 1 more player. I hate golfing by myself! I tend to shoot mid 80's to low 90's. I'm about to move from Smyrna to Murfreesboro but I wouldn't be opposed to a drive for a nice course!

I'm in Smyrna, TN. Got a regular group (3 of us) that play every Saturday. Most of the time we find a fourth, but there are times we only have 3. Good group of guys, mostly 80's to low 90's, most days. All of us are in our 40's. Usually play Old Fort and Smyrna.

Do you have the Golf Match App on your phone? It's kind of like Facebook for golfers. Anyhow, there is a group called Middle Tennessee Golfers, you can join it. There is a lot of people on it. They are always looking for other golfers to play with. They also have a bunch of golf outings. For instance, several are going to up to Fairfield Glade to play 36 holes in a few weeks.

I'm in the Nashville area. I generally play around the Nashville/Franklin area, but am not opposed to heading to Murfreesboro every once in a while. I usually get tee times solo, so paired up with whoever the course gives me. I'm 30. Shoot 70s to low 80s. Free on Saturdays and Sundays most of the time, unless my fiance makes plans.

I play at Old Fort mostly when in town. Indian Hills is about to redo their greens.

Of course they are since I just moved about 7 minutes down 231 from there. I noticed they were all brown and was wondering what the hell was going on.

Played Old Fort the other day and had the worst round I've had in a long time. I can't figure out how to hit this M1 consistently. I was money with my R11 but I'm struggling with the new club.

I saw a video of the greens at Indian Hills, the greens are dead. Never been a big fan of Indian Hills, not sure what it is about that course, but the back 9 always has my number.

Old Fort is tough, especially if you short side yourself around the greens.

Indian Hills is a fun layout. I just hate 3 of the 4 par 3's. I rarely hit the green on #5 (Always left with my irons for some reason), #13, and #15. I drove the ball over #16's green the last time I played it, still made par. I was just right of the green on #12 and I can't hit driver on #11. I always end up in the right trees on #18 as well.
