One plane swing stack and tilt

want to learn more about it

I want to read some if anyone has some links about the one plane swing.

A friend of mine asked me about it and I have no idea what he is talking about.

I am not a big fan of swing fads but I want to read on it before I form and opinion.

Both approaches were introduced in Golf Digest articles that should be available on-line (the one-plane article was in May 2005, the stack and tilt in June 2007). The September Golf Digest has follow-up articles by Plummer and Bennet, the "stack and tilt" gurus, and Jim Hardy, the "one-plane" guru.

Hardy has a website, www.jimhardygolf.com. Inevitably, someone will also direct you to www.oneplanegolfswing.com, but that was put up by someone trying to piggyback on Hardy's success, and has no association with Hardy.

Not really: both are "one-plane" and share similar principles in certain areas (staying centered, for example).

Thankyou for posting that for me it answered my question.

I may read it again later but at the moment my first impression is pure insanity.

These tour players that are using this method need to check with some orthopedic doctors and get and idea what there back and hip will look like in twenty years.

I have always belived that the golf swing should be extremely simple. I read nothing from stack and tilt to change my mind.

Now having done some reading on the one plane I would agree with those that said the two methods are totally different.

After reading about the one plane I think it pretty much describes how I attempt to swing a club.

As usual a bit more complicated than I like to think it needs to get , but at least it makes sense to me.

Does Baddely's swing look one plane (according to hardy) yes... does Weir's yes...but does the one plane swing alow for shot making capabilities by utilizing and changing COG's?...no, does it account for different plane variations per player?..no...(this would be 2 planer)...
