Denver area charity golf courses

Long time lurker, short time poster. I am trying to put together a charity golf tournament in the Denver area. Since we are going to get into the cold season soon, I won't be looking at doing it until the spring. Are there any courses in the area that are used to these sort of things that are willing to work with my organization and either donate the use of the course or offer it at a discounted rate? Thank you all for your assistance.

Donate? Most likely not, unless it's a middle-of-nowhere muni.

Discount? Maybe if you're a well-known national/international charity that a course would love to associate themselves with.

Does anyone in your charity also have a job at a golf course or is a board member at a country club?

Most courses love to set up these types of events because they're getting full field and full golf/food rates. I'm not in the industry but I'd highly doubt they will give stuff away.

Sanctuary

Really depends on what you're looking for. Are you planning a high end tournament? Meaning $2k foursomes or are you looking for $400 foursomes?

Sanctuary puts on some amazing charity tournaments. But it's not cheap and lots of sponsors are needed to make it work.

I have a friend who runs a tournament every year for a non profit. They use the Broadlands. They seem to be very accommodating and always provide some stuff for the silent auction. They allow them to bring their own beer in, which is provided by local breweries. They have worked hard to make it work and have reached out to the breweries chick fil-a and other vendors.

I know this is an exhausting task for them every year.

If you are looking for a course to make it happen for you. It's not that easy. They will provide the course and meals at a cost per head. Some other amenities may be provided but you gotta make it all work.
