Announcement from the Philadelphia PGA:

PPGA w/ Atlantic City Convention Center are presenting the

1st annual Atlantic City Golf Show.

Location: Atlantic City Convention Center

When: December 8-9, 2017

This show will be the only area event in the region before the end of season.

Michael Breed, Golf Channel and other instructors inc. Philadelphia PGA will be available on demo range, lesson tee and presentation stage.

Variety of vendors, courses and other golf related exhibitors will be there.

I can't seem to find any information online about this. Will it be open to the public? If so, how much are tickets?

Show is definitely open to public. Its basically same as spring golf shows except this is in the fall.

This one seems so sad to me. Used ball sellers, outlet overrun clothing, seemingly endless people selling massages/chiro work, vacation destinations like Santee sc, no new clubs and the demo area is full of whatever they jammed into a bag from the 2014 and older collection.

This one seems so sad to me. Used ball sellers, outlet overrun clothing, seemingly endless people selling massages/chiro work, vacation destinations like Santee sc, no new clubs and the demo area is full of whatever they jammed into a bag from the 2014 and older collection.

My son and i go every year and have a blast. Judging by the crowds and lines to get in, I'm not alone. A few years ago I watched Brandon Mathews hit the long drive of the weekend. He's top 10 on the web.com leaderboard this weekend. So how was the one in AC?

I think you kind of helped me with my point, 3 years ago the highlight was a guy that's on a leaderboard three years later. Michael breed was there 5 years ago which would have been cool to see but I was living in florida then and the show I would go to is the PGA in Orlando so maybe my expectations aren't valid for the oaks show. I've gone to the oaks the last 2 years and 17' seemed worse than 16'. I don't like ac as a place so I don't go there, ever.

The highlights are the memories that I have with my son and the benefits that he gets from it. I didn't think the story about the Delaware Women's coach lecturing about the benefits of stat tracking and how he has implemented that to his game would be exciting for you but for me it makes it completely worthwhile. The point I am making is that it may not be great for you, but you are in the minority.

So I gave my opinion on why I don't like the show, your memories with your son are why you like the show but there's no denying that it's not the place to go to see what's fresh and new in the market, its not the place to go if you want the latest golf trends and see where the market is heading across the varying market segments (clubs, balls, fitness, clothing, growing the game, junior golf, national and International travel, etc.)

For me it's pretty simple, it's like comparing a flea market to a PGA superstore. They dont compare
