Anyone own or use the Live View Golf camera system? I think it could be helpful. It’s a tad expensive and I wonder if new and better technology will come out soon for less.

Unless it's changed, it's a really low res camera for the money. Seems like a good idea but it needs a technology refresh.

The resolution they’ve shown in videos looks fine. It’s not a Blu Ray movie I’m watching.

I got this in case anyone is wondering. It’s pricey, but I think worth it. It’ll probably be the most useful of the many training aids ive bought. The resolution is fine for its purpose and it delivers on its promise. Way better than using mirrors.

I'm going to experiment seeing if I can link my iphone and ipad together to do the same thing to accomplish the same goal.....i thought I read a while back where someone did this.

You can call yourself via Facetime (I have done that), but you cannot record (capture the video) the swing for playback. Seems like a really good IOS developer would have created an app. But that might mean its not doable. Devices like Action cams, GoPros both allow live view recording. I would think the phone could simply act like any other remote recording device. Maybe I should teach myself IOS programming.

I tried it and concept is great, but it doesnt work on low light (my garage with my simulator) so im trying to send it back since they offer a 30 day guarantee. IMHO the smartphone apps do just as good if not better.

I have it and it's decent for what it is primarily intended for - real time visual feedback of your motion. Very helpful when learning a new move. While it can do recording for later playback, as mentioned the quality is quite poor and almost useless when using for that purpose. Your much better off using any smartphone for that type of work. While I understand there are quite a few limitations in providing a wireless real-time image stream, it would be nice if it at least had a higher res mode that could be used for recording in addition to the live stream functionality.

Complete waste of money hard to line up in use indoors because of distances. Outside you get serious glare of screens. Contact me if your thinking about buying one. I may part ways with mine
