Orlando/Lakeland Trip in early March - looking for golf partners.

Hey everyone, doing a family trip in late Feb early March (28-3) and looking to play some courses. Spotted Legends and Southern Dunes as some nice options, but open to other suggestions. Since none of the family plays wondering if I can find any fellow WRXer's out there that would be willing for a golf meet up. If you've got other suggestions and/or willing to play let me know!

Ill be down there Mar 1-15, haven't looked at booking anything yet, i usually try to book on golf now a day or so ahead, i as well am the lone golfer in my family. I like southern dunes and Eaglebrooke, both south of disney, perhaps one of the OCN courses, not to sure yet.

You'll want to play Eaglebrooke in Lakeland.

I just got back from a quick trip to the area to play golf and played the following:

- Eaglebrooke - Great course for the price. Cool layout, very nice staff.

- Grand Cypress - Amazing and highly recommended. Played the North and South, but would love to also play the East and New (are they different?)

- Celebration Country Club - Great course, but they seem very unorganized. We had an afternoon tee time, but a frost delay pushed back all tee times. The pro shop guys didn't seem to care that we wouldn't be able to get 18 in and were smug about it. They also didn't have enough carts for their capacity so we had to wait for that too. Not sure how that even happens.

- Southern Dunes - Good course, challenging...I do not feel it is worth the price in my opinion. We also got unlucky that there is a fairgrounds or something nearby and had some sort of rap concert with ridiculously loud music.

Just my opinions but figured I would chime in since I just played these the past few days.

Just my opinions but figured I would chime in since I just played these the past few days.

I believe that the East is another 9 hole course that can get paired up with the North and South to make your 18. The New course is 18 holes on its own and comes highly recommended as its challenging and very fun. I never was so happily frustrated playing a course where I didn't lose a ball than playing the Grand Cypress New course.

You'll kick my @ss but if you want someone to pair up with I'd be down. If not no biggie but figured I'd ask. Have always enjoyed playing with fellow WRX'ers
