Taylormade Tuned Performance Studio at Poppy Hills- Any feedback?

I saw a few unanswered threads about the Taylormade Tuned Performance Studio at Poppy Hills and I wanted to put it back out there for feedback. Seems pretty awesome but there is no feedback out there that I can find. Being that its free for NCGA members theres nothing to loose however was curious how others experiences went.

Looking to spec out new irons most specifically however they offer a full bag fitting/analysis which couldnt hurt. I am ok with only Tmade products however hope to optimize shaft other than stock.

I did it last month for a driver fitting. Great deal for NCGA members and they also allow you to bill the purchase back to your home club (if you’re a member somewhere) which might make it cheaper the regular retail. They have track man setup on the range (they change the balls for the fitting as the regular range balls are distance limited due to the length of the range/proximity to the 18th fairway.

Range itself wasn’t in the best condition but for a driver fitting it was fine and they have a trackman to do all the number crunching. I got fitted into an M4 and went back and forth between my current gamer (JPX 900) and the recommended M4 to make sure there was actually a difference rather than just a few lucky swings. Definitely produced a more consistent result and felt I could swing with confidence knowing that my misses weren’t nearly as bad.

My brother also did it too. He games a Taylormade Burner and the fitting really made a significant impact on him. Gained about 20 yards being properly fit and misses were a massive improvement over the Burner. He too preferred the numbers and feel from the M4 over the M3.

We had 45 mins before our tee time and they were able to put the clubs together by the time we had to head to the first - we just had to wait a few holes for the grip to 100% set.

Overall it think everyone should at least give it a go as an NCGA member. I would recommend it - at least for the Driver fitting since that’s all I did.

wow thanks icemonk! I spoke with Micheal Rider, the TM fitter, and he was very informative and generous with his time. I am excited for the experience, thanks for the feedback. Anyone else?

Sorry to resurrect this but does anyone know how much the full bag fitting is?

And as ncga members which fitting is free?

I've worked with Freddy and Michael on my irons and wedges - happy with my 6-PW PSi's for now but they fit me into a 4 and 5 iron in the p790s. So my gapping between my 5 wood and 4iron is perfect. I was also fit into a HI-TOE 60* wedge as well. They have a nice short game area over there, so I was able to test it out from a variety of lies. I also went over to the short game area at Spyglass which is a little bit bigger, and that sealed the deal for me.

I will probably give them a call and set something up. I really just want to get fitted not really in the market but if they can adjust my current irons that would be great!
