This golf ball is by far the best I’ve ever played. Although it is not quite as “soft” feeling as the regular Z Star ball, players with higher swing speeds will certainly be able to generate enough spin with this ball on approach shots. Around the greens, there is little difference in amount of spin that can be gained on chip, pitch and flop shots. Furthermore, this ball feels great coming off the putter. Now the fun part: the driver- this ball flies off the face. As a player with a higher swing speed, the Z Star XV is perfect for me, for it delivers a powerful, penetrating ball flight which is ideal off the tee. There is a noticeable difference between the XV and the Z Star in this regard for players with higher swing speeds. Another fantastic benefit of this ball is its stability in the wind. This ball flies beautifully through the wind and is not nearly as impacted by wind as compared to similar golf balls made from other manufacturers. Lastly, this tour caliber ball comes without a tour caliber price tag- coming in at a mere $39.99 a dozen.

The best part of the XV is that awhile ago they had them 1/2 price so you could get them for $20 a dozen! That was the time to stock up on a few!

 

It is a very good ball and I enjoy using them in yellow!

If you like the XV then i would suggest trying the Nicklaus Black ball. You can only get them through Nicklaus' website or at one of his courses. Think i paid $32/dozen and i really cannot tell the difference besides the logo.
