Does anyone game this club, and how would you compare it with other driving irons like the UDi,X Forged UT or the Srixon U65 ?

It's very similar to the UDI, TMB, etc. I'm finding that with all of them essentially being constructed the same way that it's not necessarily which one is the "best", but which one fits you best. I've played (unrelated, the word "game/gamed" sounds idiotic) three different driving irons, the UDI, Cobra utility and the Apex, and while I liked them well enough, I'm back to carrying a 2 hybrid because it's more flexible in what I can do with it.

my 2 cents: If you're a good iron player, a driving iron is a great idea for a fairway finder. If you struggle to hit your 3/4 iron though, it might be best to stick to hybrids or higher lofted fairway metals. Looking at the BST over the last month or so, a lot of people are finding that the driving iron isn't necessarily the fix they need, because there are a TON of them up for sale.

I had a 95 Steelfiber in mine last year, didn’t love it. Put in a Motore Speeder Tour Spec and now LOVE it.

for the low digit HC out there, what shaft are you using in this driving iron? I've been on a UST VTS black 100hx for a while and hit it great, just want to try something different.

I repurposed a Red tie hybrid shaft and it worked very well, super stable.

... I rotate my King Utility Rogue Black shaft with a UDi HZRDUS Black shaft depending on wind and course conditions. The Cobra is much more versatile, especially since I can adjust the loft, and can be used from the fairway almost like a wood/hybrid and I have even had some success from the light rough. If I am playing in windy conditions or dry hard fairways I use my UDi as it launches much lower with less spin and is an awesome DI, decent from the fairway for second shots into par 5's but useless in the rough.

I’ve gamed the utility and U65 side by side for quite a long time. Both are great! 65 the feel is just great but I love the fact that the Cobra you an dial it in to where you need it.

I ended up selling the Cobra and playing 3,4 U65 in my bag. Just loved the feel and I also play 565 irons so it just works for me. Cobra is just as good though imo

I have the Cobra. Haven't played the others, but I love how the Cobra plays off the tee or turf with ease. I have mine shafted with the Graphite Design Driving iron shaft and love it

I have gamed the Cobra Utility and the p790 UDI and hit the U65.

Cobra 2/3 Utility with KBS Prototype 95X

Taylormade p790 UDI Tensei Pro White 100TX

Srixon U65 KBS C-taper lite stiff

Overall the Cobra fits me best, has been the most accurate, and gaps perfect. I just sold the p790 UDI. Once I added 12 grams of lead tape I could feel the head in the swing and it sends some low flying missiles. It was basically the same distance as my 3 wood though and was a one trick pony. The Cobra is much easier to hit out of the rough or off the deck in general. The Cobra is not as long as the UDI which was better for me as I needed a 230 club not another 240/250 yd club. The Srixon I hit was the 3i, 20 degrees. It was only slightly longer than my 4 iron (which is 21.5*). It was very easy to hit but didn't fit what I needed, I'm sure the 2 iron would have made the choice more difficult.

All of them are great clubs, you just have to find what you need them to do.
