Does any fan really care who wins the Fedex Cup?

My point? There are Majors (four) and there are regular events.

Yes, everyone knows there are four "majors". And other events have varying levels of prestige and importance. IMO, the PGA Championship is no more impressive or interesting than the Players Championship or the Fedex playoffs. I base that on the fact that in all of those events, you get the top players in the world competing (because of the prestige and the large purses) on usually very interesting courses (of which the PGA Championship more often uses relatively mediocre courses but also mixes in some great ones). I don't care what the media calls a tournament, that doesn't brainwash me like it does some others.
