Evnroll ER 1.2 back from BOS

What can you say about BOS, they do great work. They promise long on the delivery back and deliver short, (said 4 weeks, but returned in 2). This is the third putter that I have sent them.

I had an ER8 (370g) and hated it, could not get the distance right. Used some other putters the last year, but thought I would try one more time with a 355g ER 1.2 and really like it a lot. I had already mated it to a black shaft and SS Mid Slim 2.0 (the Paige model, black with red, gray and white trim).

But it didn't look as great with the stainless head. So off to BOS for flat black black oxide. They did a great job, who ever does their paint fill is really good.

I doubt it, Black oxide is a very thin finish. Its not like the polymer finishes. The groves are not filled in and look the same as before.

You'll be the first I let know, LOL. I've stated playing around with a used Bat Attack. But that ER1.2 will have to be pryed from my hands.

I didn't realize they didn't offer this model in black like some of the others. Looks good. Their cnc'd heads are really well done. My ER2's head was top notch quality machine work. I had also bought a 370g head and wish I had gotten a 355.

What do you mean “nowadays”. Are you saying new, used or blacked out?

Blacked out is a DIY project. I bought used and sent the head to BOS.

I wouldn’t spend that if I had to buy new. The 355g heads are harder in my opinion to find used.

I’ve got a 355 (got the 35”) and wish I got the 370g. PM me if you want to discuss potentially swapping.
