Wedges - All Same Color or Different Color?

I'm looking into getting a new set of the sm7 wedges for the bag but I like the look of the jet black and the slate blue. What do you guys think of having different color wedges? I noticed a lot of bags on this site have all the same color wedges....why is this? Thanks for the input!

Ahaha, I'm going through the same struggle, and honestly it really is all just a bunch of nonsense at the end of the day. Last year I bought a chrome gap wedge not realizing that my sand wedge was actually dark. How could I forget?? I'm that matchy-matchy guy, for no good reason.

 

Now that I'm a few seasons in with my sand wedge, it could use replacing. But, do I get the chrome version to match my gap wedge, or keep the dark color I like? Do I get a new gap wedge in dark finish if I stick with a dark SW??

I love the idea of the same wedge, but in different colors. Friend of mine had SM6s in each of the three colors: 50 degree in black, 54 degree in chrome, and 58 in steel grey. The different colors made it very easy for him to grab the wedge he needed without having to look at the loft stamping. I thought it was genius.

I like having the same color wedge across the bag. It looks better to my eye. They don't necessarily all have to be the same model, but I do like having all 3 the same finish. That being said, I have had all 3 wedges the same model for at least the last 3-4 years.

I’m leaning towards trying out the raw finish on the next set of wedges I order. I like the look of chrome just fine, just hate that sometimes the sun can hit the club just right and the glare will almost blind me.

May help you so you don't inadvertently grab the wrong one. Had that happen once when I was playing jet black SM5 M grinds. Meant to grab the 54, grabbed the 58.

For me the wedges have a pretty specific job and while my other irons are chrome my wedges are black. I know its all in my head but i want them to all be the same color and model.

Since the 60 and 56 wear out the fastest you might want to go black. You can see the wear pretty easily.

I have satin Chrome and black vokeys. Doesn’t bother me at all. Eventually the black will wear off and be more raw.

I don't even have the same brand of wedges, so color matching hasn't even crossed my mind. One SS, one chrome, two raw.
