KBS or Modus?

I looking to upgrade my shafts in my irons because i got back to my "normal" strenght after an injury.

I'm playing the KBS90R in my irons now. I'm deciding between the KBS C-Taper Lite R (105) or the N.S. Pro Modus Tour 105 R.

Does anyone has experience with those two shafts? What i'm most looking for is a higher ballflight.

Both are considered mid ball flights. I had the Nippon NS pro 1050 in my G700 and had a high ball flight. I currently have the C taper lite regular flex to lower my ball flight. But I prefer the feel of the KBS for sure in my opinion. I know NS pro 1050 is a different profile to the modus 105. But if you are looking for a higher ball flight I would look into either the NS pro 1050 or KBS tour 105. Unless you are playing something that is low trajectory right now and looking to raise your ball flight. My vote would be for the KBS C taper lite.

I totally missed where you said you was using KBS tour 90. If that’s the case. Try the KBS tour 105. You’ll still get the high ball flight you are looking for.

Pretty comparable shafts. C Taper Lite probably a little lower flight than the Nippon 105. CTL is one of my favorite shafts as they do well for me in the wind. I play them in either stiff or a soft-stepped X flex.
