Can anyone identify this Scotty Cameron TEI3

Hello All,

I have been using this putter for over 10 years off and on, just the other day someone mentioned it might be a circle T. I can't find another picture online that has that Dot where it should say TEI3.

I was wondering if anyone here has any input? Thank you!

That is a horrible picture. Send more of the cavity, face and sole. Not aware of any TeI3 putter that is unstamped or with a tour dot.

Well, other than the horrible lighting, you can still make out that it has a partial of the TeI3 stamp on the face. I don't necessarily believe that Scotty would intentionally put a "tour dot" on the face of the putter to cover up the i3 part of the model stamping. Remember, this was the year after Tiger won the masters with a TeI3 and reason why the TeI3 stamping moved from the sole to the face so people would know what type of Cameron putter it was. I'm no historian or Cameron expert, but my guess would be that someone drilled the dot on their own and its not a circle T.

My guess is aftermarket work. In this era it was common for a similar dot to denote a tour putter, and people quickly followed in an attempt to have a tour looking putter, or to try to sell for a higher price claiming it was a tour stick. Most, if not all, of the tour dot putters I've seen from this era have the dot between the TeI3 engraving and the heel, none have it going through the engraving like we see here.
