Can't follow the ball after I hit it, need help.

I was so disappointed yesterday when I went to get my new Oakley prescription sunglasses because I am so tired of not being able to see the ball. The bring them out, I put them on and immediately say "these aren't right." The guy seemed astonished and started looking at the paperwork and said it matched up but they were definitely not correct. Then I closed one eye and then the other. The right lens is the culprit as it almost looks like they set it to my bifocal strength. I was thinking about it this morning and I seem to remember him saying that I am nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other which is not correct so I am hoping a misplace + or - is the issue. Really looking

forward to being able to see better on the course.

 

edit: just got off the phone and asked to check my theory and I was correct. A misplaced + was the problem. She also let me know that they will be a brand new frame and lenses to expedite the process. Lost golf balls here I come!

I have exactly the same problem and Im 61 probably only see the ball 40 % of the time. Its very frustrating not having the first clue except by feel, where the ball has gone to.

Same problem here, with cataract, progressive lens. My short-term fix, just to keep playing, is to hit the ball as low as possible, as if playing in high winds, forget about score, carry extra balls, and drop when lost. Punch driver, one-iron stinger, short irons off back foot, bright yellow balls, wide stance, 3/4 swing, etc. I'll try other solutions mentioned as I save up the money.

Try placing your bag down and leaning your phone and recording in slo mo

a bit dramatic I know but I’m going to try it because I have the same problem my 3w hits so sweet that I have to hit a provisional and then I find it closer to the hole.

So I’m going to try slow mo because it’s easier than running up and down the hold
