I wouldn't take that route any time or day of the week from Franklin to Nashville. I've done it from Spring Hill a few times and traffic is awful.

What are thinking the advantages of Hermitage would be? In addition to proximity to your work and home, pace of play is going to be much better at Legends. Obviously it’s a little more pricey though.

The price. It's definitely the price hit after the initiation fee that gets me, but hey, golf is a big part of my life and I have always dreamed of getting a private membership. Now is probably a good time in my life to go for it.

If you can swing the price, ever other advantage is at Legends. For me convenience is a big factor. I'd love to join but can swing that like if money for my good habit. I could for Hermitage or Gaylord but I live closer to Legends as well and don't want to add another hour to and from.

 

1 hour round trip

1 hour early to tee time to hit balls and prepare

4+ hour round of golf, sometimes 5.

 

I really don't want my golf habit to take 6-7 hours each time I play. But that is me and I have two young kids at home. Anything that can be eliminated, time wise, i would try.

Is there half off with member referral for Legends like someone posted in this thread? I am quoted $8,000 for initiation and $585 for monthly dues pretax.

Can someone post their thoughts about the golf course at Temple Hills? Also, info about initiation and fees?

It's public/private. 3 nine hole courses. Not as nice as most full private course in Williamson Co but I assume it's way more affordable, but have no clue what their dues and Initiation is. Lots of tourneys out there.

There is no public option at Temple Hills. They currently have no initiation fee. I know it’s not as good as Legends, but was wondering how it stacked up against ONCC, NGAC, or Old Hickory CC.

hmm last football season they had some deal for public to play after noon for like $35.

 

annnyway, I much prefer Old Natchez and Nashville Golf to Temple. They are still a step up imo.

When I asked last week, a junior membership's initiation costs $8k. But there is a wait list, and you have to put down 3k to join the list and you must pay the 5k immediately once a spot opens up or you would lose your deposit.

Been touring clubs in Williamson County.  Initiation fees are 3x now after Covid.  I wonder if they will come back down?
