Paula Creamer ball

what brand?

I saw Paula Creamer at the LPGA T of C and she won with a pink golf ball. I was wondering what type of ball she was playing because it would be intertesting to see if it is a ball she regularly plays.

Its the Precept ball she normally plays. She plays the normal one and then plays the pink one on Sundays.

It is a Precept Tour S III. They run 19.99 for a 6 pack at Golfsmith, Golf Galaxy. They are a really nice ball - if you can get over the fact that they are pink.

On the precept site it shows her endorsing the IQ 180 ball with Nick Price.

She plays neither, it is a marketing ploy and a good one at that. She plays a ball that is made only for her. It is essentially a B330-s with a Precept logo (same brand) and the same ball except with a pink cover on sundays. Because she is on the womens tour it would make sense for these women who are marketing to women playing a product made for a woman or the likeness of this product. This is straight from a Bridgestone/Precept rep so he would be telling us that she played a true Precept ball if he was smart but he claims differently. Also why would she play a 20 ball when she can have whatever she wants, it may be a good recreational ball but still. The claim about her ball is noticeable due to the color of her ball being hot pink and solid colored (more noticeable on TV as a pink ball) and both the S III and IQ 180 balls having more of a translucent or crystal cover.

I actually think the ball is a TourStage a la Maruyama. Cannot see Paula using what is a grade 2 ball in LPGA events. Not a bad ball but not finest quality, unless they are paying her silly money.

she does get silly money, silly enough she has her own ball that is only made for her. I think there is some hack on the PGA tour that has the same deal with some shoe company, his name is eldrick or something?

What ever happened to the SIII Tour? My wife loved that ball (she hated the price, but she definitely liked it better than the regular SIII). I know that it didn't sell a whole lot, but I would still order them for her if I could. Even throw out the B330-s in pink, I bet she would like that one.

I saw some last week at Golfsmith - still 19.99 for a 6 pack. They were on a back endcap on the bottom shelf (kind of hidden). I really like the ball - spins like crazy and is really durable.

Slight sidebar that I wasn't aware of: Lady SIII's are no longer listed on Precept's site or in their downloadable catalog. Only the iQ 180 is listed.

stunning in a photo shoot! But after the hat comes off..... Its all downhill from there! Kind of like a, well I wont say it but she doesnt look at good in person as she does with all the make-up and such.

 

Same for Gulbis, but she has a killer body and looks better anyways. For some reason the hat makes the girls look really good when they are just about average.

 

I dont discriminate though, I'd take em for a while!!!

actually you're correct......she did play the tourstage x-01s ball for a while prior to the siii tour being made for her

wow... It was the s3 tour.. this is basically a b330's but a hair softer than the b330's badged under the precept label ...

It was NOT just a b330's done in pink.

Thats what she WAS playing.

i dont know if they have made a newer version in the IQ series for her. im guessing she is now playing the IQ version of that ball but i cant confirm that.

If someone wants some shoot me pm and i can get them for you. I will have to check on the price though. but i do know where some are.
