Initials & Club Logo on Custom Bag?

So I am planning to get a custom walking bag and was hoping to hear what y'all think of putting initials and/or a club logo on the bag? Do either come off as pretentious or douchey? I'm a thoroughly mediocre player but absolutely love walking and have been dreaming of getting one of these bags for some time. Normally I'd go with a clean look with no logos and maybe some initials, but having the ability to customize the bag has me considering other options.

Club name is nice. Save your name for the bag tag. I think your name on your bag should be reserved for PGA of America Members or a touring pro.

As long as the embroidery is good, I'd put initials or name. I tend to like first name (my last has 10 letters) in a script font. Can look really nice if done well!

I’ve thought about this myself and I fall firmly in the camp that full names on regular bags (staff, cart, stand) is unacceptable for a non-pro.

that said, with a pure carry bag like a Mac, i think initials and logo are definitely acceptable. To me, the initials are less douchey than your full name, and on a piece like that, to me it reminds me more like a nice piece of luggage.

only word of caution is 1) make sure you love the style/colors you pick and 2) that you plan on being at your club for awhile.

I’ve seen some really nice Macs get unloaded on the cheap because initials of a little known club logo...people would prefer a blank one in that case. But if you’re the type to buy and stick with it, I say go initials and logo. Enjoy it!
