Has anyone visited Studio B?

First, has anyone been there for a putter fitting? How was it? Did it make a difference in your game? Did you buy a tour putter or get a custom putter made?

Second, did anyone buy anything from the hive? I was wondering what they have for sale there? What types of head covers? Divot tools? Ball markers?

I am thinking of doing a one day visit, get there in the morning, do my fitting and then leave in the evening. Has anyone done that? Did you take an Uber/Lyft from the airport, public transportation or rent a car?

I first visited (now have been 3 times) right around the time The Hive first opened and learned a lot about my putting stroke and why I like a certain style of putter. I went for a custom putter just to get exactly what I wanted. Not saying it's only the putter fitting but my handicap is down 7 points from when I first visited. The times I've been there, The Hive has about 30 putters available right then and there with a bunch of different rare, tour and Hive only headcovers. They also have all of the normal line there and can custom fit you for any of them. As for the divot tools and ball markers I don't remember them having anything only for The Hive, but they do have some of them that have been released over the past years hanging around.

I did a one day visit to Bettinardi by flying into O'Hare, renting a car, visiting 3 Floyd's for lunch (highly recommended and not far from Tenley Park if you love beer), going for the fitting which lasted a couple hours, then dropped the rental car off at downtown Chicago location later that night. Spent 4 more days taking the L everywhere in Chicago without a problem. Cost for the rental and gas was way cheaper than an Uber would have been.
