Heppler vs vault 2.0

Anyone directly compare these two putters? I’ve read about the firm feel off the face of the Heppler, but other than that how do they compare in performance, etc. looking at the anser model for both but possibly the voss in vault 2.0.

I don't know if this will help you or not, but I have gamed a Ping Vault Anser 2 and Voss (Vault, not Vault 2.0) and I am currently playing a Heppler Tomcat 14.  The feel off the face of these two putter lines is completely different to me.  As you know, the Heppler does not have the True Roll groves that both Vault and Vault 2.0 have, and to me the Heppler has a firmer, "clickier" feel.  I much prefer the feeling of the Heppler line, but of course ymmv.  For what it's worth, the Heppler Tomcat 14 is the easiest to align, most stable feeling putter I have ever played (and I'm past the honeymoon phase).  In the Vault line, I felt no noticeable difference in the Answer 2 vs. Voss, just a slightly different look at address.  If memory serves, I think the Voss had a slightly shorter blade length.  Hope this helps.

Face textures, grooves, milling patterns, will contribute to a slight softer feel due to the reduction in surface contact with the golf ball, however the overall putter model geometry, design, and face thicknesses still have a greater contribution to the feel of the putter.

 

The Vault 2.0 have TR grooves and the Heppler is completely smooth.  If you compare like for like, then I expect the Heppler putter to feel slightly firmer and have more feedback.

I loved both putters. I really was surprised with how the heppler felt. That being said, I would probably go with the Vault 2.0 - a little softer, but still really good feedback. Go hit the heppler, it definitely doesn't feel harsh - i was pleasantly surprised with the feel.
