Ping Glide Forged Wedges. Thoughts?

I currently use the Ping glide 2.0 wedges and I’m seriously thinking up upgrading to the Ping glide forged wedges. Anyone gaming these right now? Looking for some feedback, thanks!

I've had a set in play for just over a month now. 50, 54, 60 w/ KBS 610 125 wedge shafts in all.. Coming from Vokey SM7 wedges w/ TI S400 shafts. This is my first venture away from S400 wedge shafts so the KBS wedge shafts are also a new thing for me, too.. so, please keep that in mind.

PROS (for me):

1. Great looking wedge. Smaller profile. They blend perfectly with Blueprints and smaller blade profile irons.

2. Feel is tremendous. One of the best feeling wedges I've played. To add to this, turf interaction is very good on all different types of lies/conditions.

3. Full shots with the 50 and 54 are my favorite. Very tight dispersion and consistent ball flight and distances. 100-130yds in is a high confident shot for me right now.

4. partial shots with the 50 and 54 are also great. Can flight them low, mid, and high no problem. I've been playing a lot of mid range lower shots that 1-2 hop and stop/check with no problem.

5. I don't have any actual spin numbers to share but with fresh grooves these seem to be working perfectly for me. I guess not an absurd amount of spin but also not too little. Just right.

CONS (for me):

1. I'd like to see some more grind and bounce options available for these. Specifically for the 54-60. I think it would offer some more versatility. I haven't spent a lot of time in the sand yet with these but I typically prefer a higher bounce in my sand wedge. Hopefully if they do a 2.0 this will be a thing but I feel like these kind of take a backseat to the standard Glide models.

2. It's taking me a while to get comfortable with the 60*. I'm not sure why. My lob wedge has always been one of my favorite clubs. It's also my go to club for around the greens for several types of shots. I just can't seem to accomplish some of the shots as consistently as before. Maybe a longer adjustment period is needed. Maybe I'm better fit for more of an M or V grind type lob like I've previously used. Unfortunately, I've found myself getting more frustrated than rewarded with this club since putting it in play.

3. Kind of getting a bit nit-picky here but more finish options would be great. If I decide to keep these in play, I'll probably send these out to get stripped raw during the off season.

Overall, great wedges. Pros outweigh the cons for me. The gap and sand have been great. Going to see how my time goes with the lob wedge. I'm also considering putting the s400 back in that before moving on.
