what is collage golf like?

what is collage golf like i am not there yet so i dont know im just a wondering kid?

collage golf? is that like making art while on a golf course? or playing a bunch of different holes from different courses? jk

It's pretty busy from what i have heard, with workouts, classes, practice, homework, and travelling.
But it would be absolutely wicked, what free golf wouldn't be wicked. Check Golf Digest, they have had the college golf guide and it has a couple peoples schedules for their average day. Plus do a search on here, theres probably some good stuff on here. Just my guesses though, still in grade 10
and work on that spelling

It depends on three things. The coach, the school, what you want out of your college experience. Personally, I hated it and it almost made me quit golf. That was because I hated my coach, picked a school solely for golf, and didn't know what I wanted out of college until it was too late. I would have loved it under different circumstances though. If I had gone to a big state school to play golf, or a DIII school where I could have played number 1 my freshman year it would have been fun I think. But I went to a very small Division 1 school in a very competitive golf conference and found out that there was a lot more to college than golf as soon as I got there.

Like bk4 said, it really depends. I have played for three years at a D3 school and it has been great. We have a more relaxed program because it is D3 and we aren't being paid to play. We pretty much go about our business and practice/play when we are able to. Traveling is probably the best part. The tournaments are a different level than high school though, even at D3. Most of the kids on the better teams are all really good players and you have to shoot some real good numbers to finish high in tournaments. And if you play poorly there is usually someone ready to try and take your spot, which isn't always the case in high school, so the pressure is a lot higher. I would say that you need to consider how much desire you have to play, because if you aren't ready to practice/play/workout everyday along with school, then don't go somewhere where you know the program is going to be intense.

Like stated before, it all depends on what you want out of it. My coach made it fun to go to practice everyday. It was great learning from a guy who played out on the PGA Tour for a few years. If it wasn't a conference or a NCAA Regional everyone got to play and everyone on our team got better for it. The traveling is really fun, my best friends are the guys that I went to crappy little towns week in and week out with.
