Pin for Hoofer Lite Stand Leg?

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement pin for the top of the stand leg where it connects to the bracket? This would be for 1 model version ago. One of mine came out and I wasn’t able to find it.

You could contact PING, or you could swing by the local hardware store and find something that will fit, either a pin or a bolt/nut... Honestly that would by my solution because you'll be able to find something that works today, instead of waiting ages on PING to send you something that might fall out again in a few months.

I’ve already contacted PING and didn’t get a reply, which is why I posted here. I wasn’t sure if these are floating out there after market.

A few months back I had to contact Ping customer service about something. Took a few days for them to get back to me (I assume they are insanely overwhelmed with requests right now), but once they did they were awesome. Shipped me a replacement overnight (for free) and had it within 48 hours. 

 

They also said if the replacement didn't work to let them know and they would send me a brand new product and all I would have to pay was the shipping. It didn't get to that, but I was happy to hear they were willing to do so should it have been needed.

I had to do the same thing last summer.  Took a couple days but they sent me a replacement pin.  The lining of the bag ended up getting torn somehow and turning the interior into a complete mess.  Ping replaced it under warranty with a regular Hoofer.  The new bag is great, but the first one is easily the worst Ping product I've ever used.

what kind of pin is it? Is it just a slotted spring pin, like the these? If so any local hardware store should have them.

No, it’s got an indention in it where it “locks” in place. It looks like a proprietary component.

I just heard back from PING. They’re going to take care of it.

One of my players had his pop out and I put a plastic tee in there and it has held solid since. I need to get the replacement pin but this held up in case you needed something to hold up until the pin comes in.

I lost one on my Hoffer and used the hardware shown to fix it. Got them from Home Depot.
