Every little while i see a topic about someones hole in one, lets see some pictures of the first hole that we only took one stroke on

Loved that course when I lived in North Van. nice hole to have your first ace on. Still waiting on my first, 39 years old, 7 yrs playing. Soon hopefully

Hooters charity scramble, 3 never before seen playing partners (one graduated from my same high school 15 years before I did). We were on our 16th hole, 201 yds, water on the left. 1st and 2nd players dunked their shots in the pond. I was just trying to get it on. 3 iron landed short and trailed across the green out of sight. The group ahead of us started yelling and ran up on the green going nuts, I figured they were messing with us (we had been going back and forth all day). Jumped in the cart and raced to the green and pulled it out of the cup! Stripped my drive on the next hole 320 yds up the pipe.

Now for the down side. Our "official" witnesses were on the next hole, drunk and playing in the sprinklers . $10,000 for the hole but no official witness. 1/2 finally paid by the hole insurer. Many calls to Hooters, affidavits from my playing partners and the group ahead of us that witnessed it, 4 months of going back and forth and finally getting a lawyer (family member made the calls) and I got paid the other half with a insufficient funds check. Funds were deposited before check cleared the bank so no harm no foul. Pro never published the event but word of mouth got me a lot of fun around town.

Funny thing was the money wasn't important till others made it so. I was just stoked to have made a ace.

Oh, what did I do with the money? Bought a new pair of shoes (foot joys classics) and a truck. Still have the truck, the shoes and the ball. I gave the clubs to my son in law.

What a day and a heck of a memory.

Semi-final match for the 06 League Finals. Match play, where I get to play against one of my best friends for the right to go to the finals the following week. Hole number two of the Meath course at Ironwood GC:

It was playing 195 yds that day, slightly downhill but into the wind. I was lucky enough to play first, and ended up choosing a soft 4 iron. Good shot that I knew would be good for putting pressure on my friend to follow suit, but I didn't know how good. Landed about 10 yards short, and rolled softly to the cup where it suddenly disappeared. After a lot of celebration, and an eventual match win, I still hear about it when we play a round..

I'm just glad that it was with a few friends.

160 yard up hill hole to a cigar shaped green that ran across the fairway. Wind heavy in our faces, I hit this awful, hand jarring hozzle rocket 5 iron that hit 25 yards in front of the left side of the green and (apparently and somehow) bounded and rolled down a fairly steep slope on the green to the hole. I didn't see it go in, I thought it bounded up on the hill behind the green when my partner found it in the cup. I had to buy a round to the golf league for my troubles.

135y into a 40+ mph wind.
5 iron punch shot lands and rolls right into the hole.

Its in North Vancouver, up here in BC, great track, and not very expensive either.

8th hole at our local course. About 165 yd, one hopped a 7 iron into a front middle pin. Luckily it was in a captains choice tourney (which we one by one shot!), and I won a trip to Puerto Rico! First and only one 3 years ago.
