Rogue Black 130 MSI TX vs TS vs 95 MSI Version

I used to play the 95 MSI version of the Rogue Black in my driver and wanted to try the 130 MSI version now. I see they only offer the 130 MSI version in “tour” flexes (TR, TS, TX). My swing speed is right on the verge of needing stiff vs xstiff shafts and was wondering if the TX 130 MSI version will play a lot stiffer than the 95 MSI xstiff version or if they should be relatively the same? The “tour” is scaring me and wondering if I should drop down to the TS.

Good questions there, that is a tough one for a couple reasons so lets clarify a few things. 

First, the "Tour" designation is more a reference to it being a "premium" shaft in terms of materials and profile so I wouldn't get too nervous about that thinking its something super strong.

Ostensibly the older 95MSI model was meant to replicate the Rogue Black 110MSI, which was the previous "Tour" version like what Spieth played in his driver and what guys like Max Homa were playing in their fairways. In reality I think it was a bit softer overall, which is typical for the "retail" model, but I don't think in the same ways that say the stock Tensei CK shafts are softer than the Pro models in that they not only omit the premium materials but also are completely different profiles. The lower MSI versions of the Rogue shafts sought to reproduce the same profile just with slightly cheaper materials. 

That still puts you a bit on the fence though, but generally you are safer going "up" in flex when it comes to more mid soft profile designs like these, so I think the TX shouldn't be a big deal. If your original 95MSI was tipped at all, I just wouldn't tip the 130MSI TX. 

Can you share any numbers about your swing? Tempo? Misses etc?

That very well could be the case, the entire Rogue line had a weird and rocky retail release. I'm pretty sure the 125MSI Silver was the first thing conceived with the 110MSI Silver being the "OEM" stock shaft follow up. I thought the same thing happened with the Rogue Black, but I don't have any hard info on that.
