Pro V1 - White Vs Yellow

I wonder if this discussion can be settled with an MGS golf ball test.  Have them compare the yellow and white pro V1 by compression testing and measurements and cutting both open.  that would really answer this question.

I hit both equally well into the lakes, but the white ones are easier to see underwater.

Does anyone have any ideas on exchanging boxes of white 2023 Prov1s to yellow ones? I have 8 dozen that I bought during the March promo and just realized I prefer the yellows.

Yellow and white, exact same ball. Yellow hides the minor scratches and grass smudges much better but I find the actual wear to be exactly the same.

I don’t think you’re going to be able to find a retailer will do that. They are too concerned about people returning or exchanging balls where they swap them out for a bunch of old/used/junk ones.

It has nothing to do with performance between the two. I’ve just come to find it’s just flat out easier to see the ball in flight and find it off the fairway. Plus in a 4some with carts on path only, it saves a little time if the group hits in the same vicinity.

Agreed. 
 

I have always played yellow balls but I actually did the same thing as you during the Titleist sale and I am regretting it. After I go through all the white ones I got during the sale, I will be going back to yellow.

The covers consist of different materials.  It would be next to impossible for them to exhibit the exact same feel, although they undoubtedly try very hard.
