Warning for political discussion?

I just received a warning for political discussion when talking about the new $600 1099 rule. Pretty disappointing being that the rule was created under the new stimulus plan as I stated. Sharing facts about tax information seems hardly political and isn’t taking one political side over another, just giving the history of how the rule was created and how it affects us all here. Anyone selling on the BST now falls under this and should be well informed as basically selling a set of irons will now open you up to additional taxes. I’m totally for no political discussion on a golf forum, but this one 100% directly affects every member here who uses the BST and without good info, will lead to more Friends and Family attempts at selling. I guess the whole discussion should be shut down since taxes in general are political?

There are 3 pages of comments without politics. The rules are clear and you admittedly cross the line as you mentioned political actions and topics.
