Best golf resorts in California

Looking to book a 3 day resort somewhere in Southern California. Already doing pebble beforehand so looking somewhere with warm weather and 5 star resort with golf.

Please share what you think is the best, most relaxing, fun golf resort in California to finish our trip out with

Depends on what time of year you will be here - Palm Springs starts to get warm/hot next month in April (high 80’s/low 90’s) and has a few high quality golf destinations however not necessarily resorts.  The JW Marriott is nice (across the street from Firecliff Golf courses) and La Quinta Resort is nice and has golf courses too. 
 

SoCal - LA and South into Orange Co don’t get really get warm (agains depends on time of year and what you consider warm) but your best bet is Pelican Hill Golf Resort in Newport Beach. 5 star resort with 2 good golf courses. Monarch Beach Golf Links is also in that area but I think the golf course sucks. The resort there is nice though (Waldorf Astoria). San Diego will be nice for the next couple of months too but not hot/warm. Obviously you have Torrey Pines courses and Lodge - not really a resort though.

How much money are you looking to spend? Pelican Hill in Newport (2 Courses), The Grand Del Mar in San Diego, and the new Sensei Porcupine Creek in Santa Rosa near Palm Springs are great options. You could also stay at Rancho Valencia in Rancho Santa Fe (San Diego) who as golf access at a few of the nicer private courses in the area (Farms, Bridges, Del Mar, and Rancho SF CC).
