Old Course

For those that have recently played The Old Course (last couple weeks), have you had to play from mats in any areas?    We play in 3 weeks and curious.

 

Also for return flight to the states, did you get a COVID test in St. Andres and if so, where at?

Played this week. There were a few areas where mats were required. 
 

we got our tests at the airport the night before departure. Booked through expresstest. Also had a backup through qured. They mail you the test and you do a virtual appointment.

Thanks for input.   About how many of the holes would you say had mat required?   Assuming most were in heavy landing areas.

 

We play Kingsbarns the last day so not sure what time we would get back to the airport.    May need to look at places in St. Andrews to get a test or check into qured.

Played the Old course twice last week.  About 4-5 holes had mats, but only in certain landing areas.  I only had to hit off of a mat once on both rounds.

 

We used the tests that you can buy online and have the telehealth visit to administer.  Takes about 20 minutes and you don't have to schedule or go to a testing facility.  CDC site will take you where to order.
