MEMBER REVIEWS: Shot Scope PRO LX+ Rangefinder, GPS, and Performance Tracking! See What Members Are Saying!

Played a scramble today and clipped the H4 to the golf cart bar I normally put my range finger on. It was awesome and stayed really well. So nice to have that yardage right in front of my face everyone I stopped. I used GPS only with no shot tracking.
I used the pro LX+Several times today too and I just can’t get past the eye relief. It’s not easy to use when I have to take my sunglasses off every time. The 3 guys in my group liked it. One (who wears sunglasses) agreed with me. The other two don’t wear sunglasses so it worked great for them.
We had two bushnells, the Pro LX+ and a (forget the name) but it was $50 off Amazon today. Yardages were all plus or minus 3 yards from each other all day.

I love the H4 and can’t wait to spend more time with it. The Pro LX+ might get donated to a friend.

hard to see the H4 in the picture because of the sunlight. It was easy to read in person.

Much shallower than arccos. Thickness of about 2 dimes stacked. I don’t even notice them.

Yep I was going to say its roughly the size of a nickel, maybe a little bigger but about the same depth.

That's excellent.  Arccos were too big and missed too many shots. Someone said it best upthread, you spent too much time fixing shots during a round

I would say that’s a huge advantage of the H4. Is it a bit more inconvenient to tap clubs to the device before each shot? Yes, but it ensures that each and every shot is recorded and in the proper place. There are no errors outside of human error from forgetting to tap. Once that becomes routine there is very little post round editing. I’m three rounds in and tapping is already a habit.

A real bonus, I just got this email today:

NEW Shots Plotted Feature

Analyse any course you have played with our new Course Analysis and Shots Plotted features.

Ever wondered if you have the right strategy on certain holes at your home course? Does laying up on that tricky Par 4 give you better scores? Do those tee shots leaked to the right always cost you a bogey or worse?

Never guess again with this new feature which is available on our web dashboard and mobile app.

Shots Plotted overlays all of your tee shots and approach shots on holes that you have played allowing you to filter by score, club used, tees played from and more. Use this to analyse your game in even more detail and plan the perfect strategy for your course!

I sure appreciate Shotscope’s investment and development into their product! It’s great to see new features being added. It’s even more impressive when you factor in the fact there there is no recurring subscription fee. Kudos to Shotscope!

H4 came in clutch again this past Tuesday. I played sweetens Cove and at the end of the day we did the Illuminati routing. For those unfamiliar, you tee off at various places and play across holes, down opposing fairways, etc. I was able to just select the hole for the green we were ending at and get accurate yardages since most shots on that routing were blind.

I’m very happy with the H4. The battery lasted me about 45 holes before I took it off to charge. It hadn’t died but the icon said it was low.

After spending a decent amount of time with it now Ive decided from a rangefinder and GPS perspective it is outstanding and i would recommend it to anyone. I love how accurate the Rangefinder is and am loving the slope feature. Having the GPS attached to the rangefinder is just that little extra icing on the cake. I like to use it to determine about where on the green the flag is located for the longer approach shots and of course for any blind shots i have its perfect. The shot tracking portion is just not for me the way its set up. As i have stated before i think i would have better luck with a shotscope V3 watch version but to have to keep the GPS in my pocket or on my belt to track each shot is kind of a pain and just not something im going to remember often enough and it takes my focus away from what im actually doing especially on the greens.

The H4 looks interesting but I don't like the idea of having to tag clubs. I have the V3 watch and I've never had issues of it not picking up a club automatically . I love the thing.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
